America First
This land is your land, this land is my land.
From the beginning when we Euro-Americans stole America away from the native land-holders we have been both Spanish and English, more or less, just as much now as ever. The signs of the times indicate that it is time now to get over our old ethnic prejudices and accept that America is just a Latina as Anglo. We are proud to have both of these great cultural origins as we make to embrace our two national languages. Once we properly address our own schizophrenic double standard we can truly set about to redress those other ethnic groups and cultures that we left bleeding in the wake of manifest destiny and America first, because all lives matter.
Desde el principio, cuando los euroamericanos robamos América a los terratenientes nativos, hemos sido tanto españoles como ingleses, más o menos, igual que ahora. Los signos de los tiempos indican que ya es hora de superar nuestros viejos prejuicios étnicos y aceptar que América es tan latina como anglo. Nos sentimos orgullosos de tener estos dos grandes orígenes culturales, al tiempo que hacemos que nuestros dos idiomas nacionales sean aceptados. Una vez que abordemos adecuadamente nuestro propio y esquizofrénico doble rasero, podremos realmente poner en marcha la reparación de aquellos otros grupos étnicos y culturas que dejamos sangrando en la estela del destino manifiesto y de America first, porque todas las vidas importante.
